Guy Vernon was born in Kansas and has always had an affinity for horses. He's been around horses all his life. Guy's family moved from Kansas to Colorado when he was a teen, and his interest in horses and training continued.
After graduating from high school, Guy went to Lamar Community College. He graduated with a degree in Horse Training and Management, but he came away from his college experience with more than a degree. That's where he met his wife, Val.
After Guy and Val got married they eventually moved to Kiowa, CO., where they still live and run their training barn. They have one daughter, Lacey, who shares the passion for horses with her mom and dad. She's now 20, and has already earned a lifetime's worth of equestrian awards and accomplishments.
Over the past 20 years working as a trainer, Guy
has enjoyed great success developing and showing reining horses. He is a multiple NRHA Lawson and Bronze trophy winner, a NRHA Derby finalist, and a USEF multiple championship finalist. Guys skill and creativity in the saddle earned him many Dodge Invitational Freestyle Championships, as well.

dreams about themselves
Strong, Powerful, Beautiful
and it has the capability of giving us escape from our mundane existence"
